The mouth is essentially a tube-shaped mouth gag that allows for breathing and the insertion of objects; it can be plugged with the attached sink stopper. The included irrigation funnel is one of those objects: it can be linked to the mask to allow for forced feeding of liquids and liquified solids. No matter what you put in there, the funnel breaks down for easy cleaning! The whole hood cinches in the back with nylon drawstrings through grommets, and locks in strategic places (eye strap, chin strap, collar).
